Premium Birch Firewood

Clean and quiet, it is the essential firewood for the right ambiance.

Birch is a hardwood that burns hot and clean with little smoke and zero crackling and popping. Seasoned Birch if great for recreational use in indoor and outdoor fireplaces or provides clean, long-lasting heat for those wood fired cooks out there.

Our premium birch is seasoned to ensure the birch is always a min of 20% or less humidity. The seasoning process ensures the wood is clean and ready to burn. 

If you want to keep your chimney from getting an excessive amount of creosote build up it’s important to burn only wood with moisture content below 20%. Burning wood with a moisture content over 20% creates more smoke, which contains particulates and chemicals, which form the creosote in your chimney. It also gives you less heat, because it takes heat energy to boil off the excess humidity.

Cherry Firewood

Cherry firewood is best used for open fire cooking or smoking white meats such as chicken or pork, hmmmm cherry smoked ribs anyone… Cherry firewood can give white meats a reddish or brown tint, and the smokey taste is usually mild and ads a slight fruity taste. Not as strong of a flavor as Apple, but still yummy none the less. It is a favorite of people and restaurants that do wood fire pizzas as the heat and coal beds it produces make controlling temperatures easier than woods that burn with flame and turn to ash.

Cherry firewood is also a rare and cherished firewood, with a higher price point so it normally isn’t used for fireplaces or outdoor firepits.

Apple Firewood

Apple is a very desirable wood sought after by many people. The dense hardwood creates a nice, sweet-smelling fire that generates a lot of heat. Apple wood is so desirable a vast majority of the wood never experiences the inside of a fireplace. Instead, this rich colored hard high heat producing wood with its delicious smelling aroma makes it a cherished wood for smoking and wood fired cooking.  Apple also produces nice hot coal beds so controlling temperature without burning what you are cooking is of huge benefit to those e woof fired cooking connoisseurs.

Apple firewood is too rare and cherished, not to mention carries a high price point to throw in a fireplace or outdoor firepit.
